Hemant K Batra is an internationally renowned Speaker, Author, Academician, Writer, Law – Policy Expert in the areas of policies governing Economics, Corporate, Commercial, Business, Trade & Cross-Border Investment regime. He is also an Angel Investor in the impact and development projects. For more than 27 years, his professional career has been spread across the Globe. He is an international Corporate, Business and Strategist commercial lawyer. He is Founder Chairman of Kaden Boriss IPR brand associated with a global alliance link and a network of corporate/commercial law firms having a presence in US, UK, Kuwait, UAE, India, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, and Australia. He is a Senior Fellow of a well known Law and Policy Think Tank, Goeman Bind HTO. He has authored five books – (i) SAARC, (ii) FDI in India, (iii) Humor in Robes, (iv) SAARC & SAARCLAW, and (v) Global Concerns viewed with Law & Policy.

As an Angel investor, he has been associated with several prestigious social impact and intellectual startups. He was awarded the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Seva Medal by the Gandhi Global Foundation. He is the elected Vice President of SAARCLAW (South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation in Law). In the past, he has been Secretary General of SAARCLAW for more than three terms. Recently, he was also elected to the General Assembly of The Union of International Associations (UIA), a research institute and documentation centre, based in Brussels. It was founded over one hundred years ago, in 1907, by Henri La Fontaine (Nobel Peace Prize laureate of 1913), and Paul Otlet, a founding father of what is now called information science. The UIA has consultative status with ECOSOC and associate status with UNESCO.

Hemant is also associated with various projects of ADB, GBHTO, IDLO, UN, UNDP, UNAIDS and UN-ESCAP. He is Chair of the South Asia Committee of Indian National Bar Association. He is also designated Mentor at leading business schools.
